George Lucas, the acclaimed filmmaker behind American Graffiti and other lesser-known movies, announced plans this week to open a a brand new Chicago museum honoring, among other things, his contributions to the art of cinema.

MICHAEL BAY: THE MUSEUM
Located at the end of Navy Pier, this museum explodes every summer weekend at 9pm.

Before exiting, a guide will whisper an inaudible secret to you that might just change the context of your relationship with the museum. (Despite being asked repeatedly, the curator continues to refuse to share what he whispered.)
STEVEN SODERBERGH MUSEUM

THE TIM BURTON MUSEUM

KATHRYN BIGELOW MUSEUM
